Potato Dumplings

Potatoes, bacon, and cheese are wrapped in gyoza wrappers and fried until crispy, much like a potato pie, for a creative twist on dumplings. The crunch of the crust paired with the melty cheese and fluffy texture of ASC’s potatoes makes for irresistible flavor. These dumplings also taste great when cold, making them perfect for entertaining or potluck parties. (Ingredients for two people)

Tropicos Andean Potatoes 200 g
Bacon 2 slices
Melting cheese 4 tablespoons
Salt, pepper To taste
Gyoza wrappers 10

Preparation

  • Microwave the frozen potatoes for 6-7 minutes until soft, then mash them. Cut the bacon into 1 cm strips.
  • Add the bacon and melted cheese to the mashed potatoes. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
  • Divide step 2 into ten portions, fill the gyoza wrappers and fold.
  • Add a generous amount of oil to the frying pan, and fry Step 3 until it turns golden brown.
