Andean Potatoes and Bacon Rice

This Western-style rice dish is packed with sweet Andean potatoes and has a hint of butter that enhances the flavor. It tastes great with tuna instead of bacon.(Ingredients for two people)

Tropicos Andean Potato Cuts 150 g
Rice 2 cups
Half-cut bacon 4 slices
A: Butter 1 tablespoon
A: Stock 1 cube
A: Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
A: Mirin 1/2 tablespoon
Chopped parsley To taste

Preparation

  • Cut the bacon into 1 cm wide strips.
  • Put the rice in a rice cooker, add ingredients (A) and the appropriate amount of water, then top with frozen Andean potatoes and bacon and cook.
  • Once cooked, roughly mix and serve in bowls, sprinkling chopped parsley on top.
