Pineapples Sauteed in Caramel


A simple dessert made from caramelized sweet and sour pineapples. You can enjoy it as is, or as a topping for ice cream, pancakes, etc. (ingredients for 2 servings)

Frozen pineapples 50g
Sugar 1 tbsp
Water 1 tsp
Waffles As needed
Coconut flakes As needed


  • Allow the frozen pineapples to thaw naturally.
  • Place sugar and water in a frying pan over high heat. When the sugar dissolves and begins to turn a caramel color, add the pineapples and saute.
  • Serve with ice cream or pancakes and sprinkle with coconut flakes or powdered sugar as desired.
