Fried Broccoli and Chicken with Szechwan Pickles


This is a Chinese-style stir-fry using the salty taste of zha cai, which tends to be leftover in the refrigerator, as a seasoning. It is an easy and delicious recipe recommended by Veggie Maria. (Ingredients for two people)

Veggie Maria Broccoli 200g
Chicken thigh 100g
A Salt and Pepper Appropriate amount
A Potato Starch Tsp 1
Szechwan Pickles 30g
Soy Sauce Tbsp 1
Sesame Oil Tbsp 1


  • Thaw frozen broccoli. Marinate bite-sized chicken thigh pieces with ingredients A. Cut zha cai into thin strips.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan, cook the chicken thigh pieces, and once they are browned, add broccoli and zha cai. Add soy sauce in the end.
