Spicy Stir-fried Fava Beans and Pork with Chili Oil

This is a stir-fry dish perfect for hot summer days, featuring spicy broad beans and pork with a hint of chili oil. Veggie Maria’s broad beans are freshly boiled and rapidly frozen, allowing you to enjoy their fluffy texture anytime. The aroma of garlic and the spiciness of the chili oil stimulate the appetite, making it a dish that you’ll enjoy even on hot days. (Ingredients for two people)

Veggie Maria Fava Beans 150g
Pork 100g
Green onions 1/2
Garlic A clove
Sesame Oil Tsp 1
A Oyster sauce Tsp 2
A Cooking sake Tbsp 1
A Chili oil Tbsp 1/2

Preparation

  • Thaw frozen fava beans in the microwave, peel them. Finely chop garlic and green onions. Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces. Mix Ingredients A.
  • In a frying pan, add sesame oil and garlic, and cook over low heat until the garlic is fragrant. Add green onions and stir-fry for about 2 minutes, then add the pork and continue stir-frying.
  • Once the pork changes color, add Ingredients A and stir-fry briefly, then add the fava beans and mix well to ensure the flavor is distributed evenly.
