Spinach Korean pancake

Spinach has been added to the much-loved chijimi, making it a dish rich in vegetables. The richness of the cheese pairs well with the spinach, making it perfect as an appetizer. Moreover, the recipe uses a small amount of flour, making it very healthy. (Ingredients for two people)

Veggie Maria Spinach 150g
Dry shrimp 6g
Egg 1
Potato Starch Tbsp 2
Water Tbsp 2
Bonito Flakes 1 bag
Melting cheese Tbsp 4
Sesame Oil Appropriate amount
(Sauce)
- Ponzu sauce Appropriate amount
- Gochujang、Mayonnaise Appropriate amount

Preparation

  • Microwave the frozen spinach.
  • Mix all ingredients except for the spinach in a bowl, then add the spinach and mix again.
  • Pour the mixture into a frying pan with oil and cook covered on medium-low heat. Once one side is browned, flip it over and cook the other side without the lid.
  • Cut into bite-sized pieces and serve on a plate. It's even more delicious if enjoyed with a sauce made of ponzu mixed with gochujang and mayonnaise, to taste.
